We believe that renewable energy and recycling waste streams represents the biggest business opportunity of our time.

We also recognize that developing countries play an important role in that pursuit which represents a unique opportunity to improve the entire supply chain, generating value for all stakeholders and addressing social and environmental aspects.

Triple bottom line

Greatly underpaid farmers supplying multi-million-dollar profit companies is simply not sustainable. The fall out consequences of that model is not only severe poverty; it has far reaching social and environmental impacts moving us even further away.

The capitalist model needs to factor in social and environmental costs from the entire supply chain. Only when we factor in and cover all these costs, can we speak of a true profit.


We now have an important opportunity to put things right both environmentally and socially, and we can only achieve maximum impact when we engage the entire supply chain and allow everyone to benefit; a balanced business approach.


We create, develop and execute renewable energy impact projects. We are currently particularly focused on:


PV (photovoltaic) projects in Japan

Acting as project developer with a particular focus on the PV site biomass management (trunks, branches, roots) and recycling into biomass energy, reducing methane emissions and coal consumption.

Certified sustainable white wood pellet projects in SE Asia

Support via equity investments and offtake agreements. SE Asia has abundant biomass resources which can be cultivated sustainably and support coal replacement programs and dedicated biomass power stations.

Recycle industrial biomass waste streams into black-pellets, a replacement for fossil-coal

Through a process of steam explosion, clean up SE Asia based biomass waste streams, such as coconut husks, rubber trees and empty fruit bunches (EFB), and turn into a drop-in CO2 neutral black pellet coal replacement; lowering fossil-coal consumption and reducing harmful methane emissions.

Support a broad community-based ecological farming teaching program

Using the tree species Gliricidia Sepium, teaching live fencing applications to reduce logging and benefit of a natural pesticide and farming support crop. The tree leaves can be used for inexpensive homemade organic fertilizers replacing expensive and dangerous chemical fertilizers, saving money and improving the local environment. The combined impact makes the program eligible for carbon credits.

Former managing partner of a Swiss based business management company providing corporate structuring, accounting and regulated financial services. Almost two decades of executing international business transactions and equity investments. Masters degree in Internal Auditing and Management from City University London, UK.

Investment Banking background. Previous country Director Japan of dry ice manufacturing and cleaning equipment. Investor, developer and sales for a major biomass for energy cultivation project. Extensive knowledge and insight into Japanese biomass power market. BA Economics with Japanese from business school Reading University, UK.

Inventor & CTO

Phil Scalzo

35 years in the power sector and 10 years direct responsibility for managing operations of a several billion-dollar fleet of energy assets for the Williams Companies. Extensive knowledge and experience in power plant technologies, energy policies, fossil fuels, biomass and emissions controls. Phil has spent over ten years researching and developing the practical application of biomass as a primary energy resource.
